· Renewable resources: Laboratoires Sérobiologiques uses renewable resources to a great extent, offering the manufacturing industry and consumers solutions that are both cost-effective and environmentally friendly. Over 60 percent of the raw materials we use are renewable.
· Lower sourcing: When developing new products, we focus on minimizing waste, avoiding limited sourcing, prioritizing controlled collection of vegetable, and carrying out impact studies to ensure biodiversity will not be compromised.
· Lower consumption: Since 2003, water consumption per ton produced has decreased by 30 percent and energy consumption by 20 percent. Almost 100 percent of solid waste is recycled.
· Alternative energy: Since 2004, we have no longer used fuel oil, which has the highest pollution rate, at our plant in Pulnoy. Furthermore, we have been testing a solar energy system for heating water since the beginning of 2006.
· Environmental impact: Environmental impact: In 2005, we implemented a strict selection process for the raw materials we use to minimize the ecological impact.
